MMY Hosts Yom Iyun in Bergenfield
On Sunday, 16 Shevat 5767 (February 4, 2007) the MMY Alumnae Association ran its second full-morning Yom Iyun at Congregation Beth Abraham in Bergenfield, New Jersey. The event was attended by close to 150 alumnae, parents and friends from the broader community.

About Our Speakers

Rabbi Azarya Berzon lives in Jerusalem and is Rosh Yeshiva of Mevaseret Institutions, Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion and Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY).

Rabbi Baruch Felberman is Rosh Yeshiva of MMY. He was one of the founders of Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion, and has been a guiding force in the development of Mevaseret Institutions throughout the years. He resides in Nof Ayalon.

Mrs. Mali Brofsky lives in Alon Shevut and is a senior faculty member at MMY. She has been a member of our staff since the inaugural year. Her classes in Tanach, Philosophy and Jewish Family Life are extremely popular. She also serves as the Mechanechet for Shana Bet students.

Mrs. Melissa Perl, a resident of Bergenfield, is a member of MMY's founding class. After two full years at MMY, she continued for a BA at Stern College and an MA from the Bernard Revel Graduate School, and is presently a doctoral candidate at Azrieli. She teaches Tanach and is Director of Torah Guidance and Girls' Israel Guidance at Frisch.
