"Eleven Years of MMY" Slideshow Alumnae Melave Malka, 17 Tevet 5767/Jan. 6, 2007
A highlight of the evening was a very funny and also very moving slideshow with photos from eleven years of MMY's history, beginning in Elul 5756 (1996) and continuing right up to through 5767 (2007). The slideshow was the brainchild of Mrs. Sarah (Winkler) Markowitz - a talmida from MMY 5763 who is also on staff in 5767 serving as Programming Coordinator. Sarah put together the slideshow from old pictures lying around Rabbi Haber's office, and with the technical assistance of Shana Aleph students Deena Klein, Aliza Rabinovich, Shayna Cooper and alumna Rivkah Carl (5766). For those of you who were unable to be there in person (or if you were but want to see it again!) we are offering you the opportunity to watch it as often as you like on your home computer! There is no audio accompanying the slides. There was musical accompaniment to the slide show, but there were some technical problems during the showing. When we asked the organizers if they wanted to fix the problem before we posted the file on the website, their response was "it doesn't matter - just tell them to put on some Jewish music while they watch it!"
